Death Battle Moveset: Ganondorf

Biography: In Hyrule's distant past, the almighty Demon King was stopped from destroying the world by the Goddess Hylia, and her chosen hero. In his final moments, he swore vengeance on the two, declaring that an avatar of his hatred would follow them throughout the generations. Many centuries later, this avatar was born in the form of Ganondorf, the only male of the all-female Gerudo Tribe. Ganondorf was king of his people by birthright, but this wasn't enough for him, as the Demon King's spirit within him gave him a desire for power that could never be satisfied. Though he swore fealty to the royal family of Hyrule, this was part of Ganondorf's ploy to take the kingdom for himself. But an obstacle still stood in his way in Zelda, Hylia's own reincarnation, and Link, the one who carries the spirit of Hylia's chosen hero.

Entrance: A massive vortex of dark flames erupts from the battlefield, before the flames burn away to reveal Ganondorf, hunched over with his hand on the ground. Ganondorf then stands up, flexes his fingers, and draws a Gloom Sword out from the sheath at his hip, before turning his focus to glare at the opponent.

Exit: Ganondorf grins evilly as the Secret Stone on his forehead glows, transforming him into the Demon King. An aura of Gloom then builds up around Ganondorf as the camera pans out, revealing the Blood Moon in the sky behind him.

Standard (Light): Slashes to the right
Standard (Medium): Slashes to the left
Standard (Heavy): Does a spinning slash with his sword that sends out a shockwave of Gloom
Launcher: Summons a Gloom Club and swings it up and over his head in a wide arc
Aerial (Light): Slashes downward with his sword
Aerial (Medium): Summons a Gloom Spear and does a forward thrust with it
Aerial (Heavy): Summons his Gloom Club and slams it downward
Crouching (Light): Does a low stab with his spear
Crouching (Medium): Sweeps his spear across the ground
Crouching (Heavy): Slashes upward with his Gloom Sword

Grab: Flame Choke
Ganondorf grabs the opponent by the neck and lifts them into the air. Chuckling as his foe struggles to break free, Ganondorf then fires off a point-blank burst of Gloom from his hand, blasting his opponent to the ground.

Special Moves:
Demon King's Arrow: Ganondorf summons the Demon King's Bow and fires an arrow that transforms into a blast of Gloom. This can be deflected if hit at the right time by either the opponent or Ganondorf, and Ganondorf isn't immune to it. As the Demon King, Ganondorf will instead fire three arrows that home in on the opponent. Unlike the regular Demon King's Arrow, these can't be deflected, as touching or attacking the blasts will cause them to explode, damaging the opponent and infecting them with Gloom.
Gloom Whirl: Ganondorf pulls back his Gloom Sword before spinning and slashing around himself with it, creating a circular wave of Gloom around him that hits foes all around him. As the Demon King, Ganondorf will rush forward slightly and do two spinning slashes, which deal increased range and damage and infect the opponent with Gloom on hit.
Warlock's Spear: Ganondorf summons his Gloom Spear and pulls it backwards before lunging forward to stab at the opponent. As the Demon King, Ganondorf will surround his spear in Gloom as he charges, greatly increasing the move's damage and causing a trail of dark flames to shoot up behind him. Contact with either the spear or the flames behind Ganondorf will infect the opponent with Gloom.
Dark Tremor: Ganondorf summons his Gloom Club and slams it into the ground, sending out a shockwave that knocks the opponent back. As the Demon King, Ganondorf's strike will instead summon eruptions of Gloom that travel across the floor in a wave and infect the foe on contact.

Super Move: Phantom Ganon
Ganondorf summons a phantasmal copy of himself made out of Gloom, which charges across the screen and does a combo of attacks using its sword, spear, club, and bow, before finishing by slamming its club into the ground to send out a damaging shockwave of Gloom. As the Demon King, Ganondorf will summon four Phantom Ganons to attack the opponent instead, before reabsorbing them to send out a screen-spanning shockwave that covers the entire floor with pillars of Gloom, damaging and infecting any foes touching the ground.
